“Biz şantajla məşğul deyilik. Almaniya öz mövqeyini dəyişməlidir: Türkiyə Berlinin dediyi ilə oturub-durmayacaq. Əgər bu (alman deputatlarının “İncirlik” bazasına buraxılmaması), şantajdırsa, bəs sizin etdiklərinizə nə ad vermək olar? Bu, ikili standartlardır. Türkiyə bundan sonra ikili standartlara tabe olmayacaq”, – deyə Çavuşoğlu bildirib.
“Əgər Almaniya bizə dost kimi yanaşsa, biz də ona daha artıq dost münasibəti göstərərik, əks halda biz də lazım olduğu kimi davranacağıq. Diplomatiyada qarşılıqlı münasibətlər anlayışı var. Əgər onlar “İncirlik” bazasını tərk etsələr, öz işləridir. Biz dialoq və diplomatiya tərəfdarıyıq. Angela Merkel bizə müraciət etsə, hər zaman danışıqlara hazırıq. Bu məsələni NATO-nun sammitində də müzakirə edə bilərik. Lakin hələ Merkeldən heç bir təşəbbüs gəlməyib”, – deyə türkiyəli nazir əlavə edib.
Türkiyə NATO-nun Yaxın Şərqdə mühüm üzv-dövlətidir. “İncirlik” aviasiya bazası ABŞ-ın və NATO-nun regionda əsas hərbi bazalarından biridir. Burada İŞİD terror qruplaşmasına qarşı hava əməliyyatlarında iştirak edən beynəlxalq koalisiyanın təyyarələri yerləşir.
Almaniya hərbçiləri ABŞ-ın başçılıq etdiyi koalisiyanın İŞİD-ə qarşı əməliyyatlarında NATO-nun AWACS radiolokasiya kəşfiyyatı təyyarələri üçün ekipaj formalaşdırılmasına cəlb olunub. Həmçinin Berlin alyansın “İncirlik” bazasında dislokasiya olunan 6 ədəd “Tornado” kəşfiyyatçı-təyyarələri vasitəsilə də əməliyyatlara dəstək verir. Bu təyyarələr demək olar ki, hər gün Suriyanın hava məkanında kəşfiyyat missiyası həyata keçirir. Bundesverin mandatı Suriyada yerüstü əməliyyatları nəzərdə tutmur.
